ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINING
Where mechanical machining of materials difficult to machine with chip-cutting has limitations, the strengths of wire electric discharge machining come to the fore.
The extremely narrow cut widths, the machining of ultra-hard materials, such as hardened steels, tungsten carbide, titanium or ceramics. The high levels of accuracy and the production of sharp-edged holes and pockets lead us to use wire electric discharge machining for the production of type holders, connecting pieces, ejectors, tungsten carbide punches, ceramic dies and cutting punches. Accuracies in the micron range can be achieved.
